Frequently Asked Questions:

Why BEL-AIR?

BEL-AIR is a local family owned 12 year old stable company that puts your peace of mind first and foremost by only hiring employees that are background checked, clean cut, drug free, experienced and professional. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, and NATE certified. We only use the best installation materials and we promise to leave your house cleaner than we did when we arrive. Did we mention the 10 year workmanship guarantee? We guarantee anything we install free of workmanship defects for 10 years from date of install.

We use the best equipment, the best materials, the best installers, the best support…

Bar none.

Why Trane?

Trane is the leading home comfort manufacturer in the world. They are tops in consumer reports, are rock solid financially, have the best customer and technical support in the industry. The equipment is attractive, quiet, safe, and reliable. Their air quality products use exclusive cutting edge technology that give you the best quality air and are second to none in this realm.

Only Trane?

There are some circumstances that will require us to use other brands than Trane (job specifications, engineering plans, mobile homes, customer choice, etc…). We can order any equipment for any job and will use the same care and quality of installation on anything we install.

Mobile home installations?

Absolutely! Please understand that we can only use Mobile Home Approved equipment on these installations. Currently these are limited to Coleman and Intertherm for use as approved forced air heaters. Any questions feel free to contact us .

How much?

There are a lot of variables to take into account with your home comfort system. We do not just give you hot and cold by changing boxes anymore. Many things affect the price of your system including:

  • System size
  • Ease of installation
  • Any necessary duct work or repairs
  • System efficiency
  • Accessories and additions.

The only way to correctly size your system and give you an accurate price is to give you a free in home estimate with one of our professional licensed Comfort Consultants.

How long?

Typical installations run as follows but can vary depending on complexity:

  • Furnace change out – 5 hours
  • Furnace/AC change out – 8 hours
  • AC add on (with existing forced heating system) – 1 – 1 ½ days
  • Furnace new cut in (no existing forced heating) – 1 ½ days (including 6 ducts)
  • Complete system cut in – AC and heat (no existing forced heating) – 2 days
